Godly Man Wanted
We’re looking for a
godly man (must be a member) to teach the Word to our
young boys on Wednesday night. If interested, please see
Pastor Steve or one of the deacons.
Ladies’ Crocheting Night
Ladies of the church are invited to
“crocheting night” on Thursday, TBD, House TBD.
You are welcome to arrive around 6:30 PM.
Please feel free to bring a snack!

Housing Needed
We have a great need for host
families for the 2012 G.A. If you have space in your
home to house one or more individuals/couples, please
let Pamela Drinkwine know (782-8768) by October 1st. If
you house G.A. attendees, you will be responsible for
getting them to the G.A.
each morning and picking them up each evening. We
are also looking for volunteers to feed those attendees
who will be
coming in early on the Sunday afternoon before the G.A.
begins. If this is something you might be interested in,
please see Kathy
Deschaine.

Springfield Pregnancy Care Center
The
Springfield Pregnancy Care Center is in need of
volunteer receptionists and counselors for Thursday
evenings.
If you are interested in
volunteering,
please talk to Brenda Smuda or call Ronnie
Schortmann (734-1091).
They will provide
training.
Please consider
volunteering one Thursday a month.

Missionary of the Week

Food Pantry
There are many local people who
have nothing to eat and nowhere to live.
We tend to forget those
things when we do not see them on a daily basis.
For them, we would like to
begin stocking a food pantry and would like donations of
the following items.
Also, please be aware of
those in your neighborhoods who could be helped by such
a ministry.
Paula Graham will be
heading up this ministry.
If you would like to lend a
hand, I am sure she would welcome the assistance.
Please help.
We must reach out community
with the Gospel of Christ.
What better way to do this
than to help meet their physical needs as well.

Ultimate Youth Night / Christian Skate - 3rd Monday of
each Month -
You
and your children are invited to participate in the
Ultimate Youth Night/Christian Skate at the Skater City
Indoor Amusement Park, 138 South Road, Enfield, CT.
It is from 5:00 to 10:00 PM.
Admission is $10 which includes roller skating,
skate rental, and full use of the arcade.
You can also buy 2 slices of pizza and soda for
$3.00.
In
the arcade, you (or your child) can enjoy use of 10 Wii
stations, Guitar Hero and DDR, just to name a few.
This will take place on the 3rd Monday
of each month.
It is a great time for you and your children to listen
to Christian music, meet new brothers and sisters in the
Lord, and enjoy each other. The event is sponsored by
New Life Community Church, also in Enfield.
